Powers include: Clairvoyance/psychic, pyrokinesis, telekinesis, aquakinesis.

Personality: As a friend Bonnie is loyal, intuitive, dedicated and supportive. She is fiercely protective and can be loyal and dedicated, perhaps to a fault as she tends to worry about her friends. Since discovering her powers and lineage and having it confirmed by speaking with her grams, Bonnie is both thrilled and a little apprehensive with this new knowledge and ability. though it may seem like she has her abilities under control, they are thrown off by way of her moods.

Her best childhood friends are: Elena Gilbert, Caroline Forbes. Moreso she is closer to Elena having known Elena longer between the two.

At first: When Bonnies grams keeps telling her she's psychic and all that, she puts it away as crazy old people talk as her dad had sometimes told her that er grams was a little off. Not completely nuthouse crazy but, that she could have very far out ideas and has had very far out ideas on their family lineage, namely the women. So visiting grams although Bonnie liked it, she didn't put too much stock in her grams' sayings on her abilities. It was, if anything, comical conversation fodder between Bonnie and her best friends; Caroline and Elena. Bonnie also enjoyed playing into the wardings of her grams every now and then, for a dab of attention, but it was never prolonged, like Carolines interest in boys, the attention Bonnie would glean was fleeting and for fun.

She finds out: When she starts discovering she DOES indeed have special powers like her grams had been saying, at first she is scared. She is scared of herself and her control or lack thereof of whats happening, also, the incredulous lilt these powers have, it is hard for her to believe it all. She goes into a state of denial at first. Not wanting to put any faith into what is happening to her, but the occurences pile up in intensity and despite her own denial , she slowly begins to explore her reach, confiding in her Grams about what has been happening to her. Grams therein becomes her teacher and mentor, and their relationship grows and becomes more stable. Bonnie no longer thinks of her grams as someone who could rattle off crazytalk about her family, but grams becomes a trove of information into her families history[and her direct ancestry with Emily Bennett, Katherines handmaiden] and Bonnie begins to find out more about herself through her grams than anyone else. Being comfortable with her secret, she decides to tell just one of her Bffs; Elena, in showing her what she can do. Elena is shocked but overall happy for Bonie that she can do these things and comfortably live with them. Basically Elena is happy for Bonnie because Bonnie was happy enough to share the secret with her. IT was best to tell Elena over Caroline since Caroline has a problem with keeping secrets, and Bonie is closer with Elena than she is with Caroline, though marginally so.

Who knew: Stefan by proxy and his long life, knew that Bonnie was a witch, and his acceptance of it was rather smooth and calm as he tends to be. Even when Bonnie had become so psychologically stressed that her powers began to wan, he was there to help her out, if only to calm her mind by giving someone to talk to.

Outwardly: because this is taking place in the midst of season 1, Bonnie is more optimistic and apt to being social with people at school and her best friends, still indulging int he fad of going to the grill to pick up guys and play foozeball. Her powers still trouble her but she is still in the habit of refuting them and/or not talking much about what she can see/do.
