history: Connor Daniels is the only son of Jennifer and Bradley Daniels, an Irish immigrant family. Born in raised in the suburbs of Cleveland Ohio Connor lived a relatively normal life. He play sports and was fairly good at them to boot. His mother ran a bakery on the west side of town, while his father was a prominent contractor. You could say that he had the white picket fence family, in fact they literally had a white picket fence. This all changed however several days before the date of April 6th, 2001. During a extremely rough football Connor had gotten into a head on collision with another player. The two were immediately rushed to the nearest hospital but despite the doctors best efforts were pronounced brain dead. His mother was besides herself refusing to pull the plug, watching and waiting for her baby boy to pull through. This however was not to be the case, being brain dead wasn't something you just snapped out of and eventually his father finally talked his mother into letting him go. They pulled the plug in the late night of April 5th. What they didn't know however was that while they had gone to get something to eat a mysterious figure had showed up and given him a few drops of a there blood and disappeared into the night. Connor had woken up a few hours later in the morgue of the hospital confused an slightly disoriented. After taking some time to get his bearings he rushed home to find his mother crying over his old baby photos. She was shocked to say the least, and screamed for his father to come downstairs and prove that she was not crazy and that it was really there dead son standing in the living room with her. After a heartfelt reunion, his mother rushed to make him something to eat after several complaints made by him of being starving. After cutting herself while chopping some veggies Connor lost control and attacked her, draining most of her blood. His father witnessing without Connor knowing ran to his car to get the police but when they arrived Connor was know where to be found. Confused at all the strange things happening to him he went on a killing spree, murdering and draining nine more people while his father was sent to a mental hospital after claiming that his dead son had murdered his wife. Eventually he learned to control his urges and switched to a strictly animal free diet. He moved to mystic falls with the hopes that he could try and live as normal a life as a vampire could, he even stole a sun walking ring from a vamp who had tried to kill him once. Little does he know that he had just thrown himself into the least normal town in the entire United states.
