I'm nicer than my brother, and a little more moral but that does not make me any less of an monster. I’m a vampire, Moral and nice don't normally get associated with that word. Most people think of soulless blood sucking demons. I guess that's why we are not necessarily liked around mystic falls. I was turned in 1864 by Katherine who I loved at that time. It was more of a love triangle between my brother and I. I'm not in love with Katherine anymore. Elena has taken that spot of my heart much to Katherine disapproval. Elena is unlike anyone I have ever met. She looks a lot like Katherine but is different from her in many ways. I try to remain as human as possible. My goal has always been to blend in and kept what little humanity I have left in me. My brothers goal has been just the opposite. He does not really understand why I spend time going after animal instead of human blood. He would rather me embrace everything there was to being what I am. This would of course include treating humans as if they were my puppets; feeding and compelling them whenever I pleased. I had always been a more understanding and compassionate guy when I was human. Thankfully that part of me has never left. I know how to fight though and my anger shows every now and then. I literally would do anything to protect Elena. I know because I'm not always feeding off of human blood this makes me weaker. I'm a different person when I go back on the human blood, I guess its all a matter of trying to learn how to control things if I plan on doing everything I can to make sure Elena is safe.
